SOUTH AFRICAN BAKERY IN LONDON

Wild Goose is an artisan South African bakery in London, known for sourdough, seasonal baking, and a strong sense of community.

Our food is inspired by South African flavours and the recipes passed down from Vernon’s Ouma Ruth, simple, generous baking that brings people together.

Everything is made by hand using traditional methods, slow fermentation, and ingredients sourced as locally as possible. We follow the seasons closely and use what we can from our own edible garden.

From sourdough bread and pastries to cakes and South African classics, everything we make reflects both where we come from and where we are now.

Our team bakes through the quiet hours. Early mornings, late nights.
Feeding the starter slowly, so everything you find here feels worth it. Not rushed. Just made with care.
