Wild Goose is an artisan South African bakery in London,
known for sourdough, seasonal baking, and a strong sense of community.
It began in 2014, when Kirstin stepped away from high-pressure kitchens to take a short pause.
What started in a home kitchen with a few cakes and a handful of orders quickly grew
into something more.
People came back. They stayed. They told others.
What was meant to be temporary became a new way of life.
Founded by chefs Kirstin and Vernon, Wild Goose brings together years of experience
from some of London’s most respected kitchens, alongside South African flavours, recipes, and traditions passed down through family.
Everything is made with care, using slow fermentation, seasonal ingredients, and traditional methods.
Today, Wild Goose is more than just a bakery.
It’s a place people return to
